Service Through Sustainable Design

From Empowering E-zine – Issue: Q3-Q4, 2024

In time for holiday season last December 17, 2024, Megawide Foundation celebrated the completion of Silay Kulay, a sustainable renovation project with the UP Diliman Interior Design Class of 2025, benefiting the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter for Girls in Quezon City.

The project focused on the renovation of the shelter, including the entryway, kitchen, and multi-purpose area, designed to support the emotional, educational, and recreational needs of the girls aged 6-12 who are under the shelter’s care.

With the Foundation’s support under ECOnstruction, it showcased the transformative power of thoughtful design in uplifting and promoting accessibility to well-designed, sustainability spaces.
